Timothy James "Tim" Walz (born April 6, 1964) is an American politician and former U.S. Army National Guard officer who has served as the 41st and current Governor of Minnesota since 2019. A member of the Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party (DFL), he represented Minnesota's 1st congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2007 to 2019.
